Some repairs need to be dealt with straight away. These are known as emergency repairs.

Examples of emergency repairs include:

• Complete loss of electricity.
• Electrical fittings that are smoking, sparking or burning.
• No heating or hot water between 31 October and 1 May.
• Burst water pipes.
• A broken door or lock that makes your home unsafe.
• Forced entry to your property.
• Any situation that presents an immediate danger and needs to be made safe.

If you smell gas

Call the National Gas Emergency Service immediately on 0800 111 999 or visit the National Gas Emergency Service website.

Out-of-hours emergencies

Our emergency repair service is available outside normal working hours for genuine emergencies only.

Please consider whether the repair can safely wait until the next working day before contacting us. If an out-of-hours contractor attends and the issue is not classed as an emergency, you may be charged for the cost of the call-out.
