If you are experiencing domestic abuse and want to remain inyour home, there are steps you can take to increase your safety:

🗣️ Speak to yourlandlord – They are responsible for ensuring repairs are completed promptlyand may be able to provide additional security measures.

🏘️ Council or Housing Association tenants – Your Tenancy Management Officer can offer support and refer you to specialist agencies.

🔒 Extra security options– The council may be able to provide additional safety measures through the Sanctuary Scheme

⚖️ Legal protection – You may be able to apply for Court Orders such as injunctions or protection orders, to help keep you and your family safe.
