What Is the Customer Involvement Register?

It’s a list of people who want to help shape the way we run our housing services.
You can choose how you want to be involved—like:

• Taking part in surveys
• Joining our Tenants Panel
• Giving feedback on topics that matter to you

Who can join?

All Tendring District Council tenants and leaseholders are welcome to join.

Why should you get involved?

Your views help us:

• Improve our homes and services
• Make sure we meet your needs
• Build better communities

You can also:

• Learn more about our services
• Meet other residents
• Gain confidence and new skills
• Make a real difference

How much time will it take?

It’s up to you!
Some things take just a few minutes (like a phone survey).
Others, like Tenants Panel meetings, may take 2–3 hours.

Do I need experience?

No!
You just need to care about your home and want to help us improve.
We’ll offer training and support if you need it.

How to join

We welcome all tenants and leaseholders who want to help shape our housing services.

Joining is easy — simply complete our online application form to tell us a bit about you and how you would like to be involved. Once you’ve submitted the form, a member of the team will be in touch to discuss next steps and answer any questions.

There’s no experience required. Your views, ideas and lived experience are what matter most.

What happens next?

Once you sign up:

• We’ll record your details
• We’ll note how and what you want to be involved in
• We’ll contact you when there’s something that matches your interests
• You can choose whether to take part or not

What if I don’t want to join?

That’s okay!
We’ll still keep you informed through:

• Letters
• Leaflets
• Newsletters
  And we’ll always consult you about things that directly affect you.
