My balance is showing as credit, does that mean I can have a refund?

You need to pay your rent before it is due. This is called paying in advance.

You can pay by the method you chose, like Direct Debit or online.

If your rent account goes below zero (called debit) between payments, it means you didn’t pay in advance. If that happens, we can’t give you a refund.

We can only give a refund if your account has extra money in it — more than what you need to pay in advance.
