The following people will NOT be eligible to join the housing register

Some people are not allowed to apply for council housing. This includes:

People from outside the UK who are under immigration control, unless:
- They already rent a council or housing association home
- Or they are in a special group allowed by the Government
People the council thinks are not suitable to be tenants because:
- They or someone in their home has shown bad behaviour
