Yes; if you do not meet the three year residency rule you can still apply if you meet one or more of the following criteria.
- The applicant meets the Armed forces Criteria
- The applicant was previously a Tendring resident but was moved out of the area to be placed in specialist accommodation
- The applicant is fleeing domestic abuse (as defined by the Domestic Abuse Act 2021)
- Care Leaver aged between 18-25 years old
- The applicant meets the Right to Move Order
- The Applicant qualifies under the Rural Exception Scheme
- The applicant is an accepted homelessness case by Tendring District Council
- The applicant has been approved for housing through the National Witness Mobility Scheme
