If you are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless within the next 8 weeks you need to register and complete a self-referral form to Tendring following the link below:

We will contact you once we have received your online form and we may need to ask you further questions about your circumstances.

We will also ask you to upload some or all of the following documents:

• Proof of ID for all household members, such as passports or birth certificates
• Proof of homelessness
• Any notice served by your landlord
• Proof of pregnancy or any medical conditions
• Bank statements, wage slips and proof of any benefit entitlement

Please note: We only allow 1 week for you to upload the supporting documents. If you have not uploaded all of the requested documents within 1 week your application will be closed.

Once we received all the information we have requested we will advise you of the next steps. This may include booking you a telephone appointment with a Housing Solutions Officer. It is important for you to be open and honest at your assessment so we can give you the correct advice and support
