Asked to leave by family or friends

If You’re Asked to Leave Home

Living with other people can be hard sometimes.
If you’re asked to leave, finding a new place to live can take time because there aren’t many affordable homes available.

💡 How We Can Help

  • 🏡 Talk to your family or friends

We can speak with them to help you stay longer while you make plans.
  • 💬 Give you housing advice

We’ll explain your options, even if you’re still staying with family or friends.
  • 🧭 Find extra support

We can connect you to services that can help.

👨‍👩‍👧 If You’re 16 or 17 Years Old

Social Care may be able to help you and your family.

If you come to the council for help, we’ll work with Social to keep you stay safe and find a solution.
