Asked to leave by family or friends

If You’re Asked to Leave Home

Living with other people can be hard sometimes.
If you’re asked to leave, finding a new place to live can take time because there aren’t many homes available.

We Can Help

  • 🏠 We can visit your home and talk with your parents or friends to help you stay longer.
  • 💬 We’ll still give you advice about finding a new place, even if you’re staying with family or friends for now.

If You’re 16 or 17 Years Old

  • 👨‍👩‍👧 Social Care may be able to help you and your family.
  • If you come to the council for help, we’ll work with Social Care to look at your situation together.
  • They’ll try to help you stay safe and find a solution.
