When will the register reopen?

The Social housing Register is now open to new applications.

Please be aware that the register will close again to allow the changes to be applied to system and to allow the Allocations Team the time to apply the changes to all existing Applications (Phase 3).

What do I do if I am facing homelessness/housing emergency?

If you are facing Homelessness, then you will need to approach our Housing Solutions Team and make an application via https://tendring.housingjigsaw.co.uk and selecting the “Register as homeless” option. They will consider the information you have submitted and advise you accordingly.

Due to the high demand for Council Housing, it is unlikely that approaching the Housing Solutions Team will result in being offered a council house.
