Community Voluntary Services Tendring (CVST) is run by the local community to support, promote and develop voluntary and community action.

They do this in a range of ways including,

  • holding network breakfasts,
  • coffee drop-ins to help build community cohesion,
  • hosting the Annual Voluntary Sector Conference and Exhibition,
  • organising fundraising events such as the ever popular Annual Victorian Christmas Market.

Through the Community Information Centre in central Clacton, they offer signposting to information and advice, regular newsletters packed with charity information, beach hut hire, training, and also meeting rooms available to hire at reasonable rates to local groups.

They also hold the Tendring Voluntary Sector directory which is a comprehensive directory of community services so that residents and community staff can easily find the service they need at a glance.
