Open Museum - Frinton & Walton Heritage Trust

Event Details

The museum records Walton's close association with the sea and its impact on the town's social history. The exhibition displays Walton's internationally important geology with impressive fossil and flint collections, the establishment of the early lifeboat community plus Walton's role as an agricultural community using tidal and wind energy to power the mills. The town's C18 and C19 resort development is highlighted and 2018 concludes the "Walton at War" exhibition featuring the local war effort during WW1 and WW2. This year our special exhibition celebrates Walton's Mr. Magic - Len Blease.
