Frinton on Sea various

2023 will see the continuation of the nationally co-ordinated Royal National Lifeboat Institution Open Gardens initiative; the RNLI is entirely funded via voluntary contributions. Frinton On Sea’s next biennial event will take place on Saturday 17th June 2023 and will assume a lead role in this fine initiative with our event directly benefitting the Walton / Frinton Lifeboat Station.Thirteen diverse Frinton gardens will participate and be open to the paying public from 9am to 5pm on the day. This is always an excellent opportunity to bring our community and visitors together to witness the wonderful results of the hard work and dedication carried out to make our Frinton gardens look beautiful. A proven, real tonic for all fortunate visitors to enjoy at a time when we all still need that therapeutic mindfulness and much needed mental stimulation!

All gardens are within easy walking distance of each other and close to our fine shops, restaurants, cafes and coffee shops that our lovely seaside town has to offer. There will be the opportunity to partake of simple refreshments in a couple of the gardens. In addition to this there will be the chance to purchase plants, local distillery products, local artisan creations, learn about the RNLI’s wonderful legacy .There will be a wide array of plants, shrubs, trees in our diverse gardens, even including some prehistoric varieties, at least two of which are classed as living fossils; we hope you get to see them!

A ticket to view all gardens remains a reasonable £5 per adult (children under 16 accompanied by an adult visit free). These will be on sale shortly at Fleurette, 90 Connaught, G & Ts, 19 Connaught, Caxton bookshop, 55 Connaught Frinton on Sea and other outlets to be confirmed.
