Universal Credit is coming

Universal Credit Full Service has started to rollout in Tendring.

Over the next 2 years it is expected for Universal Credit to replace the following benefits for most working age people.

• Housing Benefit
• Income Based Jobseekers Allowance
• Working Tax Credit
• Child Tax Credit
• Employment Support Allowance (Income Related)
• Income Support.

If you are awarded Universal Credit and need help to pay your council tax, please remember to make a separate claim with this council.
