Bulky Items Collection Service

The Council does not offer a collection service but if your item is in good condition you can contact the The Tendring Furniture Scheme.

The Tendring Furniture Scheme operates a service to collect donated furniture items and pass them on to people on a very low income. For more information telephone them on 01255 476068.

Alternatively our refuse collection contractors Veolia do offer a chargeable service and will collect up to three large items at a set cost.

Please call Veolia direct on 01255 431620 for the current charge and to arrange collection.   Veolia will also quote for larger items or amounts of waste.

However if you can get them to your local household recycling centre you can dispose of them free of charge.
