Council tenants across Tendring are being invited to take part in the latest Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSM) survey — a national initiative that helps assess how well housing services are performing and where improvements can be made.
Tendring District Council (TDC) is conducting the survey as part of its ongoing commitment to listening to residents and improving services.
All council tenants will receive a paper questionnaire through the post, with the option to respond either by returning the survey or using the QR code to complete it online.
This follows positive results earlier this year, when more than 81 per cent of tenants said they were satisfied with the overall service provided by TDC — a figure well above the national average and a clear sign that efforts to improve housing services are making a real difference to people’s lives.
Councillor Andy Baker, Cabinet Member for Housing and Planning, said: “We’ve seen real progress in tenant satisfaction, and that’s a testament to the hard work of our housing teams.
“But we’re not standing still — we’re committed to listening, learning, and continuing to raise standards.
“This survey is a chance for tenants to help shape the services they rely on by telling us what’s working and where we need to do better.
“We take immense pride in the services we provide, including housing and we’re dedicated to improving the quality of life for our tenants.”
The survey is quick to complete and confidential, with responses handled securely by independent research company ARP Research.
All completed surveys will be entered into a prize draw to win one of three Love to Shop vouchers worth £250, £150 or £100. The deadline for responses is 20 December 2025.
