Senior/Planning Officer

If so, we are looking for a Planning professional to join our friendly team and contribute to the delivery of the Service.

Over the coming years, the Council’s Planning Service will play an important role in the delivery of notable projects across the District as well as major urban expansion around Clacton on Sea.

You will engage with developers, residents, and other key stakeholders to determine applications that maintain the character of the District, its heritage and protected landscapes whilst enabling new high-quality developments.

The Council is looking to lead the way in the fight against climate change by promoting renewable energy, energy-efficient properties, electric vehicles, and tree planting, both through its planning functions and with the development industry and other partners.
