TDC is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us as an Apprentice Housing Data Officer. You will work closely with our Data and Compliance Officer and Technical Officers, gaining direct experience and insight into the vital work we do to support and maintain social housing across the District.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work
  • Data Management: Collect and analyse data, update asset management software, and maintain spreadsheets.
  • Compliance: Monitor asbestos surveys and assist with electrical and gas certification in line with current compliance regulations.
  • Team Support: Support and assist officers in arranging and updating our various spreadsheets and databases.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade 4)
  • Maths (grade 4)

After this apprenticeship

During your apprenticeship you will build a wide range of practical skills within the Social Housing Building and Maintenance department, giving you a solid foundation for a future in housing, data, or local government.

Career progression will be dependent on vacancies coming up within the team or wider organisation. Internal employees can apply for roles as and when they are advertised.
