Street Lighting
Street lighting located on the public highway is the responsibility of Essex County Council. To report a fault with any such lighting, please visit their website Streetlighting Essex County Council or call their 24‑hour fault reporting line on 0345 603 7631.
If a streetlight is not shown on the Essex County Council map and you believe it may be managed by Tendring District Council (TDC), please contact us by emailing lighting@tendringdc.gov.uk or calling 01255 686941 and we will check our records to confirm whether the light is owned by TDC.
Please note, this mailbox and phone line are monitored Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–4:00pm, and Friday, 8:00am–3:30pm.
