Airshow injunction 2026
The High Court has granted an injunction to stop all camping, including overnight camping, in selected areas during the Clacton Airshow period.
Tendring District Council (TDC), which runs the annual event, applied successfully for the order at the High Court of Justice in London on Wednesday 29 July 2026.
The order will run from 00.01am on Thursday, 20th August 2026 through to 11.59pm on Saturday, 5th September 2026 and covers specified areas in Clacton. It applies to any camper van, mobile home, caravan or tent. A copy of the full order, schedule and plans can be found here:
