Residents are being reminded there is still time to sign up to Tendring District Council’s (TDC) weekly e-newsletter and be entered into a prize draw to win two hospitality tickets for this year’s Clacton Airshow.

The newsletter keeps subscribers up to date with the latest news from across the district, including local events, council services, consultations, job opportunities and community initiatives.

To celebrate the newsletter, both new and existing subscribers will be entered into a prize draw to win two Friday hospitality tickets for the popular Clacton Airshow, taking place on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 August.

The winner will be chosen at random from everyone subscribed by 19 July.

Councillor Mark Stephenson, Leader of Tendring District Council, encouraged residents to make sure they do not miss out.

“We’re keen to make sure as many residents as possible hear about the opportunities, events and news that matter to them,” said Councillor Stephenson.

“Our weekly newsletter is a simple way to stay informed, with updates delivered straight to your inbox.

“If you’ve been meaning to sign up, now is a great time to do it. Existing subscribers are already entered into the draw, and new subscribers still have time to be in with a chance of winning these fantastic Clacton Airshow hospitality tickets.”

The hospitality tickets, provided by Black Jacket Events, include a welcome drink, two-course meal and access to the VIP viewing area for one of the UK's largest free airshows. The tickets have a retail value of £65 each.

To be entered into the prize draw, residents must be subscribed to the Tendring District Council e-newsletter by 19 July. Existing subscribers will automatically be included.
