Vehicles

Drivers who hold a current Hackney or Private Hire Drivers Licence issued by Tendring District Council are able to apply to licence a vehicle for the relevant use.  This Council does not permit “dual licences” therefore a vehicle can only be licensed for use as a Hackney Carriage or a Private Hire Vehicle only.

Forms for vehicle renewals will be sent to the licence holder together with an invoice for the renewal fee one month prior to the current licence expiry date.  Please be aware that application forms which are submitted before an invoice has been issued will not be accepted.
