Recycling small Electrical or electronic items
You can now recycle small electrical items in the recycling bins located in all the libraries in the Tendring District.
These include Brightlingsea, Clacton, Frinton, Harwich, Manningtree, Walton and West Clacton libraries.
Items too large for the recycling banks and lightbulbs can be taken to any Recycling Centre of Household Waste in Essex.
There are a number of Essex County Council run Recycling Centres in Essex. To find your local Recycling Centre, or to check opening times and site restrictions, please visit the Love Essex website for more information.
Please only visit if essential, and where there is no alternative available. The safest way to get rid of your waste and recycling is using your kerbside collection. New site restrictions and social distancing measures will be in place to ensure the safety of residents and site staff. Please expect long queues and delays.
