£100 Council Tax payment

Following the Government’s announcement of a £100 Council Tax payment, we are awaiting detailed guidance on how the scheme will operate.

If you don’t already pay your Council Tax by Direct Debit, now is a good time to consider setting one up.

If you are eligible for the £100 payment, having a Direct Debit in place may enable us to make the payment directly to your bank account, subject to the Government’s final guidance. This could make the process quicker and simpler and reduce the need for you to provide additional information later.
