Full Plans applications in which plan checking will be involved are generally a longer process compared to other types of applications, as any architects’ drawings and structural calculations will need to be checked prior to a decision being made (amendments may also be requested by the plan checker throughout this process). The decision deadline date will be a maximum of 2 months after you have paid the plan check fee.
Building Notices and Regularisations are automatically approved once the fee has been paid – we aim to contact you within 2 working days with a fee quote once you submit your Building Notice application.
Do you recommend a builder?
No– we are unable to recommend local builders, although we would advise you to use a competent person, when undertaking any work.
Do I need Building Control for a conservatory?
If the conservatory comprises of 50% or more of glass, then you will not need building control.
