We collect information to communicate with you about your memorial bench application. If your application is approved, we will then communicate with you about installation and payment.
We need your information to:
• Process and contact you about your application.
• Enter you into an agreement for a memorial bench.
• Contact you in relation to your memorial bench.
• Send out renewal information.
• Enable us to meet all legal/statutory obligations.
• Take, process and chase up payments linked to your agreement.
Article6(1)(b):
For the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party; or to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering a contract.
• Where you pay for a memorial bench, 10 years (maximum) from the date your application was received.
• Incomplete and unsuccessful applications will not be kept for longer than is necessary.
• Relevant internal officers and departments
• Relevant third-party contractors to install benches/plaque
• The data subject themselves
No automated decision making applies to this process.
