The purpose for this processing

To provide mental health support to residents within the district where necessary as identified by council officers undertaking their routine interventions

Processing is necessary for the provision of health or social care.

• Date of birth
• Address
• Any known vulnerability or risk
• Reason for the referral
• Support needs

How long do we collect your personal data

For relevant period in accordance with the Council’s Corporate Retention Schedule or as otherwise identified during the process.

These will include the following as appropriate:

• Relevant internal officers and departments
• Drug and alcohol support
• Essex Partnership and University Trust
• Essex Fire and Rescue Services
• General Practitioner
• Probation
• Social Services
• Other mental health and social providers as required

Where we get it from

• The data subject themselves
• Relevant external organisations
