The purpose for this processing

Sharing data with the free to access business support agency which operates within the Tendring District. This allows TDC to know which businesses are accessing/benefiting from the service (which helps us with promotion) as well as being able to make ‘referrals’ to the service for more tailored business support.

Legal basis for this processing

Article 6 Lawfulness of Processing (Section 1, (a))

The data subject has given consent to the processing of those personal data for one or more specified purposes.

What data do we collect about you

Personal details as required.  These may include:

• Contact name
• Associated business name and address
• Email address
• Telephone number

How long do we collect your personal data

Data will be stored in accordance with each business’ requirements and reviewed in line with the Department’s GDPR Compliant database.

We may share your information with:

• Relevant internal officers and departments
• Colbea

Where we get it from

Individuals themselves (Data subjects) and representatives of local businesses.
