Voters in Frinton are heading to the polls next week for by-elections for the town and district council.
Polls will take place for the vacant Frinton ward seats on both Tendring District Council (TDC) and Frinton and Walton Town Council (FWTC) on Thursday, 5 June, between 7am and 10pm.

Returning Officer Ian Davidson urged people in the ward to use their vote – and to remember to take their photo ID if voting in person at a polling station.
“On Thursday, 5 June, your vote matters – and your voice counts,” said Returning Officer Ian Davidson.
“We’re encouraging voters in the Frinton ward to take a few minutes to shape the future of their community by choosing their next district councillor and town councillor.
“If you're heading to the polling station, don’t forget to bring your photo ID – it’s now a requirement.”
The forms of photo ID that are accepted include a UK passport or driving licence, a Blue Badge, older or disabled person’s bus pass, PASS card or Defence Identity Card – but you can see the full list at https://www.tendringdc.gov.uk/content/voter-id.
