A new parish councillor has been elected following a by-election in Great Bromley.
Voters went to the polls on Thursday, 3 September, to choose a new parish councillor for Great Bromley Parish Council.
Annie Sands was elected with 158 votes, while Susan Bennett received 60 votes.
Turnout for the by-election was 23.88%.

Ian Davidson, Returning Officer, thanked those who stood as candidates, everyone who voted, and the elections staff who supported the by-election.
“I would like to thank the candidates for putting themselves forward and residents who took the time to vote,” he said.
