The programme will include a series of free sector-specific events held at venues across Tendring, each offering practical insights, expert advice and opportunities to network with fellow professionals.
It includes sessions on Working with Tendring District Council on Monday, 22 September, the Benefits of AI in Creative, Cultural and Tourism Sectors on Tuesday, 23 September, Writing Successful Bids and Grant Applications on Wed, 24 September and the return of the popular Tendring Jobs and Skills Fair on Thursday, 25 September.
The second week of events will include events dedicated to young businesspeople and Supporting Start-ups in Tendring on Tuesday, 30 September, as well as Building Tomorrow’s Town Centres on Wednesday, 1 October.
The Business Fortnight will be rounded off with a celebration of the district’s best firms at the T4G Business Awards on Thursday, October 2.

Councillor Ivan Henderson, Cabinet Member for Economic Growth, Regeneration and Tourism at Tendring District Council, said Business Fortnight is a key part of the council’s wider work to support and celebrate local enterprise.
“Businesses in Tendring are more than just places to shop or work—they are the heartbeat of our communities,” he said.
“They provide jobs, drive innovation, and give our towns and villages their unique character.
“Whether it’s a family-run café, a high street retailer, a tech start-up or a creative studio, every business plays a vital role in shaping the future of our district.
“Tendring4Growth is about recognising that contribution and helping it flourish.
“Business Fortnight is a chance for us to come together, share ideas, and learn from one another.
“It’s about raising aspirations, creating opportunities, and making sure every business - no matter its size or sector - feels supported and valued.”
This year’s programme aims to build on that success, with a renewed focus on collaboration, innovation and community impact.
The events will be held in a range of locations across the district, making it easy for businesses of all sizes and sectors to get involved.
Whether you’re looking to breathe new life into your social media presence, explore funding opportunities for creative projects, or simply connect with other local business owners, Business Fortnight offers a welcoming and informative space to do just that.
“As Tendring continues to grow and evolve, initiatives like Business Fortnight play a vital role in shaping the future of the local economy,” added Councillor Henderson.
“By bringing together business leaders, industry experts and community champions, the fortnight aims to spark new ideas, strengthen networks and celebrate the achievements of those who make Tendring a great place to live, work and do business.”
