Beaches in Tendring District Council
East Beach, Clacton, CO15 1QX
Located right next to the iconic Clacton Pier, this popular beach offers golden sands, calm waters, and a lively atmosphere, making it perfect for families, couples, and solo travellers alike. This beach offers beach all day between the rocky bays. The beach is ideal for traditional seaside activities, although swimming is not advised either side of the pier.
Brightlingsea Beach, CO7 0HH
Brightlingsea on the River Colne is rich in seafaring history and has the distinction of being the only Cinque Port outside Kent and Sussex. The town is a haven for yachting and hosts international sailing events annually.
