Overview and Scrutiny Public Consultation for 2026/27

Tendring District Council operates two Overview and Scrutiny Committees—Community Leadership, and Resources and Services—which examine a wide range of issues that matter to our District. Councillors serving on these Committees work collaboratively to investigate topics in depth. Their findings are presented to the Council’s Cabinet in the form of reports that include recommendations for action.

For 2026/27 we are inviting contributions from Town and Parish Councils, partner organisations, and members of the public to help shape the Committees’ Work Programmes. To make this process easier and more accessible, we have introduced an online consultation form where you can share your views on the issues you believe should be prioritised in the year ahead.
