Unlicensed Family Entertainment Centre

An "Unlicensed Family Entertainment Centre" (UFEC) refers to a premises in which an unlimited number of Category D machines may be made available for use.  Children will have free access and be allowed to gamble on the Category D machines.  UFEC's do not require an operating and personal licence.  They only require a permit issued by their local licensing authority.

Applications are usually dealt with within 3 weeks of receipt of a full application.  In very exceptional circumstances the deadline may be required to be extended, you will be notified of the new deadline and the reason for extending it.
