Event details From thespian rivalry to riotous comedy, Frinton Summer Theatre’s 2023 McGrigor Hall provides a festival of the arts for Essex theatre lovers this summer. Performances begin on 11th July with David Seidler’s The King’s Speech, the first of 6 plays running until 19th August. 11th to 15th July – The King’s Speech, 18th to 22nd July – Barefoot in the Park, 25th to 29th July Folk, 1st to 5th August – The Ladykillers, 8th to 12th August – Bette & Joan, 15th to 19th August – Don’t Dress for Dinner. The theatre programme is complemented by a Comedy Night on Saturday, 8th July at McGrigor Hall and two Music Nights on Sunday 16th July and Sunday 13th August at The Frinton Lawn Tennis Club. All evening performances are at 7.30pm with matinee performances at 2.30pm and ticket prices range from £20 to £25 for evening shows and from £18 to £23 for matinees, with a 10% discount if you book every show in the McGrigor Hall season.
