This will be with Diane Bitmead, a Reiki Master. Bring a yoga mat if you have one nd a blanket or similar to cover yourself for the relaxation.This is a weekly event.

Camera Obscura

The reading room on the roof of the Tower will become a camera obscura for the weekend, come and see what it is like to be inside a camera.  Understand how the renaissance painters discovered perspective and how Fox Talbot created photography.

There will be Artist Alan Hockett and Photographer Chris Matthews to help you understand how the obscura works.

Paws in the Park is an annual fun dog show and fete, held at the Lady Nelson Playing Fields in Thorpe Le Soken, Essex. This year is set to be better than ever, with a fantastic selection of bouncy castles, games, ice creams and stalls to browse round. Plus lets not forget the fully licensed bar and BBQ! What could be nicer on a summer day than to spend a few hours in the great outdoors with your dogs, friends and family, at the same time raising money for Cancer Research UK.

We will have a very large number of hidden gardens and courtyards open with some new to the scheme and some old ones resting. Last year 29 gardens were open to the public.  All the gardens are easily reachable on foot, access is detailed in the brochure.
