The award-winning West Cliff Youth Theatre present their latest musical "Footloose" which tells the story of Chicago boy Ren McCormack who has to move to the small backwoods town of Bomont.  Singing and dancing are banned in the town following an earlier accident, so can Ren succeed in persuading the town officials to allow their return.  Filled with well known, feel-good songs it is the perfect antidote to those winter blues.

Oliver Hutchinson discusses the work of CITiZAN (Coastal and InterTidal Zone Archaeological Network) in exploring, recording and preserving the archaeology that has been revealed by the Blackwater estuary. Discoveries include a landscape lost in time, fascinating artefact, structures and even some former inhabitants. Free parking and refreshments provided.

The reading room on the roof of the Tower will become a camera obscura for the weekend, come and see what it is like to be inside a camera.  Understand how the renaissance painters discovered perspective and how Fox Talbot created photography.

There will be Artist Alan Hockett and Photographer Chris Matthews to help you understand how the obscura works.
