Calling all life savers! Would you like to train to be a Leisure Attendant and gain a funded NPLQ certificate.
Reporting into the Duty Officer, you’ll help us deliver exceptional standards of customer service and keep our community safe while they relax in and enjoy our swimming facilities.
As the first point of contact for customers and first aid incidents, you’ll play an important role in maintaining high standards of service, as well as health and safety. You’ll be a flexible, proactive person, willing to take on additional duties when required.
For those that do not have the RLSS Lifeguard Qualification, we have a funded opportunity whereby a RLSS course will be available for the right candidate. The dates of the course are on the 31st October 1st, 2nd,8th 9th & 10th November with an exam also taking place on the 10th of November, at Clacton Leisure Centre.
100% Attendance is required, minimum age 16 years.
Swim Test will be required, as part of the recruitment process, so you will need to bring your swim kit with you, including t-shirt and shorts.
For the course you will require, pen, paper, swimming costume, shorts & t-shirt for water work and a towel.
