To provide Careline services including responding to emergency alarm calls

Article 6 Lawfulness of Processing (Section 1, (b)):
Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contact.
Article 9 Processing of Special Categories of Personal Data (Section 2, (c)):
Processing is necessary in order to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person where the data subject is physically or legally incapable of giving consent.
What data we collect about you (fields)?
Personal details as required. These may include:
- E-mail address
- Telephone number
- Next of kin or other third party contact details
- Financial details
- Relevant security information e.g. key safe access, passwords etc to gain emergency access
- Physical and mental health details
How long do we keep your personal data?
In accordance with the Council’s Corporate Retention Schedule – current plus two years after cancellation of the service.
Who do we share it with?
Information may be shared with emergency services, Essex County Council (Social Services)
Where we get it from?
Individuals themselves (Data Subjects) and/or relevant third parties.
