Companies in Tendring are being reminded to put themselves forward for the Blue Ribbon Business Awards as nominations come in thick and fast.
Firms have until July 13 to submit nominations in one or more of the 14 categories.
All the information anyone needs, including a nomination form, can be found on the website at www.tendringblueribbon.org
The awards, organised by Jamesons Accountants, Barclays Bank and Tendring District Council, are now in their third year and aim to celebrate the best of business in the area.
Chief awards judge George Kieffer, chairman of the Haven Gateway Partnership and vice-chairman of the South East Local Enterprise Partnership, said he could not wait to read through the entries.
“We know there are many fantastic companies operating in Tendring, but nevertheless I am always astounded by the quality of business when I read through the award nominations,” he said.
“That is exactly what these awards are meant to do – to celebrate the high calibre that exists in the Tendring business community.
“Whether it is an up-and-coming apprentice, a top-notch shop or a fast-growing firm, all these and much more will be recognised at the awards.”
The glitzy awards ceremony takes place at Clacton’s Princes Theatre on October 4.
