Plans to create seven extra bedrooms at a guesthouse in Harwich have been given the all-clear.
The ground floor of the Goodlife, High Street, is currently a snooker room and function hall.
The owners want to turn it into another seven bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms taking the overall number of rooms to 16.
Tendring District Council (TDC) has granted planning permission as it fits with its policy and will not impact on the Dovercourt Conservation Area or the setting of nearby listed buildings.
Harwich Town Council had no objections to the proposal and no other representations were received.
