A football club can kick-off its plans for new floodlights and a stand after the scheme was given the go-ahead by Tendring District Council (TDC).
Holland FC applied to the Council for planning permission for a 100-seater covered stand and six floodlights at its ground in Dulwich Road, Holland-on-Sea.
The application followed on from a new sports pitch and clubhouse which was given the green light in the summer of 2015.
New netting to prevent balls from leaving the site also formed part of the application.
Planning officers at TDC have now given the scheme the go-ahead.
A condition on the approval means the floodlights must be properly screened from the road and neighbour homes, and cannot be used after 10pm.
