This page details options available to you on behalf of a local community group or not-for-profit in order to access funding for a specific project. Tendring District Council's Funding Officer is on hand to help with any aspect of researching and applying for different Funds; to get in touch please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Searching for Community Project Funding
The Council is subscribed to the grantfinder service through IDOX which allows the public in Tendring to search through thousands of available grants or loans on behalf of charities, not-for-profits and community groups. Once you have registered with Tendring Open4Community (free of charge), you will have unrestricted access to the system. You will then be asked a few simple questions about your organisation and the project you would like funding for in order to search for the grants/loans available, then select schemes which you are interested in and produce clear reports so that you can make informed choices before applying for funding.
By registering an account, you will be able to:
- Search one user-friendly site for thousands of grants, loans or other incentives;
- Narrow down your search to show only schemes that your project is eligible for;
- Save your searches;
- Sign up for regular newsletters and updates.
The service is very user-friendly but if you do have any questions, please email email@example.com for support from Tendring District Council's Funding Officer.
Please note that this service will only show results for not-for-profit organisations, if you are interested in funding for a business, please see our Business Support, Grants and Loans page.
