There are several options for paying your NNDR bill and you can choose which way is most convenient for you.
Please ensure that each instalment reaches us by the due date.
It is up to you whether your bill is broken down into 10 or 12 instalments. If you choose 10 instalments, you will pay more each month but will usually have a break from payments each February and March. If you choose 12 instalments, you will pay less each month but pay all year round. Whichever you choose, the total amount you pay each year will be exactly the same.
If you wish to pay half yearly please pay your first 5 instalments on the 1 April and the remaining balance on 1 September.
Important information for credit card users
Under EU directive, from 13 January 2018 the Council cannot charge a surcharge for payment by credit card. However, due to a software issue we are unable to make the necessary changes to prevent the surcharge from being taken at present on council tax, non-domestic rates, housing rents, penalty charge notices and housing benefit overpayments. Therefore, we would ask that you do not make a payment of these bills by credit card. If the payment is urgent, please contact the department that has sent you the bill to discuss. We apologise for any inconvenience. The system is being revised and you should be able to pay these bills by credit card soon without any surcharge.
