Season tickets and permits

Residents Permits

All Council Tax paying households within the Tendring District have been sent a Free Parking Permit, which can be used at all Tendring District Council-run car parks (except for the Naze and Holland Haven) between 11am and Midnight.  They are valid from the date of receipt through until March 31st 2014.  PLEASE NOTE THE REVISED START TIME OF THE NEW PERMITS FOR 2013/14.

Naze/Holland Haven

You can park at the Naze car park Walton on the Naze or the Haven car park in Holland on Sea.
Valid for 12 months £20.00

Beach Hut

If you own a beach hut you are entitled to up to two permits per hut for a number of different car parks (copy of rates bill for beach hut required).  Permits are limited to two registrations per permit.  Permits are available for:

Brightlingsea
Western Promenade Grass Car Park
Promenade Way
Oyster Tank Road
Dovercourt
Lower Marine Parade (Low Road)

These permits are valid from 1st May until 30th September.  The cost is £20.00 per permit.  Please note there is no reduction for permits brought later in the season so remember to purchase early to take full advantage of the saving.

Frinton and Walton Residents Permit (CO13/CO14 only)

This permit is valid for 12 months and allows parking at any time on the following pay and display car parks:

Coronation 
Mill Lane
Naze
Station Yard

You may also park on Church Road and High Street, Walton on the Naze between the hours on 4pm and 10.30am from 1st June to 31st August.  You may park on either of these car parks at any time from 1st September to 31st May.

Cost of permit £20.00 for 12 months.

Don't forget that there is free parking in all car parks between 3pm - 8am.

Method of payment: Cheques and Postal Orders should be crossed and made payable to Tendring District Council.

Residents Zone Permits

On-street parking is now managed by Colchester Borough Council under the North Essex Parking Partnership.

Season tickets

Season tickets are available for most Pay and Display car parks and can be purchased from Parking Services. Season tickets may be purchased annually or six monthly.

Virtual permits are now available for Category A. B and C season tickets.  You can now purchase your these on-line and they will be valid instantly.

Category B £190.00

Commercial (C) £175.00 (Coaches and other commercial vehicles)

Time Restricted (after 4pm until 9am) £10.00 (Only available annually)

Category A

Valid on Agate Road and High Street, Clacton on Sea. High Street, Walton on the Naze. Milton Road, Dovercourt and ALL category B car parks.

Category B

Brightlingsea - Tower Street. Clacton on Sea - Alton Park Road, Hastings Avenue, Martello Coach and Car Park, Old Road and Wellesley Road. Holland-on-Sea - Holland Haven. Walton on the Naze - Church Road, Coronation Car Park, Mill Lane, The Naze and Station Yard.

Commercial (C)

High Street Clacton on Sea and Station Yard Walton on the Naze. Vehicles may also park on Martello Coach and Car Park from Easter to September.

Time Restricted

Time restricted permits are available for all Tendring District Council car parks listed above. These permits may only be used after 4pm and before 9am daily. Please note some car parks may be locked overnight please check on site signage.
