    Billy Fury - known as 'The British Elvis' had 29 hit singles between 1959 and 1984, scored more hit singles in the 60s than The Beatles and was arguably Britain's finest pop star of the era. Halfway To Paradise features Billy Fury's backing band 'Fury's Tornados' with Billy's part being played by Colin Gold.
