Harwich Society Monthly Quiz

Walton & Frinton Yacht Club

It is that time of year again when the Walton and Frinton Yacht Club throws open its doors and welcomes everyone to come along and enjoy the wonderful surroundings of the club.  The Open Day takes place on Saturday 3 September at Mill Lane, Walton on the Naze between 11.00 and 4pm. It should be a great day for everyone with lots to do and see. The star of the show is the Lifeboat which arrives about midday, and people are welcome to go on board and meet the crew. There will be lots of watery activity with boat rides, a crabbing competition, and a duck race. There will also be a raft race rules and entry forms can be obtained from the club office. And of course there will be plenty of traditional stalls and games along with a BBQ, Pimms Bar and Teas cakes to keep all the family entertained and refreshed.  To enter the raft race or for more information please contact WFYC  01255 678161 or email  office@wfyc.co.uk
