There will be 10 different pub games set up for you to sample - such as dominoes, crib, shove ha'penny. Your 6 best scores will be used to determine the champion. Play as many games as you wish. All proceeds to go towards the Harwich International Shanty Festival to be held in October. You can just come and be a spectator if you wish. 

Ghost Finders & Paranormal Society (London)

Barry and Phil are Ghost Finders Paranormal Investigators.  They have been on TV, investigated West Ham football ground and many other places.  They will be showing Ghosts and hauntings caught on camera, along with talks.  Proceeds going to Macmillan & Joan the Cat & Kitten Rescuer, who feeds and looks after cats and kittens that have been neglected, then re-homes them.  Joan has been doing rescue work for many years and in all weathers.  Donations for these two worthy causes will be very much appreciated.

A series of calligraphy classes starting Wednesday 1st March then every 4 weeks until Wednesday 19th July (6 in total)

Come and learn the art of beautiful writing - for pleasure, relaxation or study. After a short introduction to a variety of calligraphic styles, we will begin with the basics of forming elegant letters using pencils, pen and ink. You will be given individual guidance to create a unique piece of work, a favourite poem or quotation. An array of tools and techniques used will also be explored.

Pier to Pier Walk

The event is now in its seventh year and saw over one thousand supporters take to the coast last year to walk the 7 or 14 miles in support of the hospice. Supporters can register alone or in groups and the hospice is encouraging friends, families, work colleagues, dog walkers, fitness and weight loss groups to register. Many participants walk in memory of a loved one who was cared for by the hospice, and see the walk as a great opportunity to reflect on good times had whilst soaking up the beautiful coastal scenery.
