Free Removal and Disposal of Vehicles

Tendring District Council's Environmental Services are currently offering a free service to members of the public, living in the Tendring district, who have an unwanted vehicle. The Council's contractor will collect the vehicle from your property or other agreed address within the district and dispose of it.

If you would like your vehicle removed and disposed of then please complete the request form on the right of this page, which can be completed and submitted online.

N.B. We cannot process your application until we are in receipt of a signed copy of the form along with the V5C vehicle registration document (Section 8 signed) which needs to be returned to the address shown at the bottom of this page.

We can also arrange removal of an unwanted caravan, boat or trailer for a charge of £18.00 (including VAT). If you would like to arrange this please complete the online form on the right or downloadable version below. Please note that if you submit an online version, we will not process your request until you send in your payment to the address below.  Please include the reference number you are given when you submit your online form.
