Helping to maintain standards of conduct amongst Councillors
Are you fair-minded with a good sense of right and wrong? If so, we're looking to recruit you.
The search is on for up to five people to consider complaints about individual Councillors’ conduct.
Those chosen will be required to guide the authority, its officers and members, on how these issues should be handled.
Anyone interested must be able to demonstrate that they are fair, independent, public-spirited and committed to maintaining high standards of behaviour.
These new roles have been created under the Localism Act 2011 and expenses will be paid. The time commitment is around 3-10 hours per month.
If you would like to know more about this important role contact Karen Neath, TDC’s Head of Resource Management, on 01255 686520.
An application pack is available here.
The closing date for applications is June 19, 2012 and interviews will be held soon after.
