Staff and councillors will be donning their aprons to take part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday 29 September.
The event, which takes place from 11am to 2pm in the Chairman’s Parlour at Clacton Town Hall, includes a Cake-off competition to find the best baker among entries from both staff and councillors.
Judging the line-up of cakes will be the Chairman of Tendring District Council, Cllr Mark Platt.
“I’m very much looking forward to judging the cakes and finding out who will gain the coveted title of star baker,” he said.
All the entries will be sold off during the coffee morning, with a suggested donation of £2 for tea or coffee and a slice of cake.
Members of the public are welcome to attend.
